Friends

(please pause the song on your right before you click the play button.)
Friends.
Based on Merriam-Webster dictionary,
Friend.
1 a: one attached to another by affection or esteem.
  b: acquaintance

English- Malay
Friend - Kawan

This is what books/dictionary said about 'friends'
But what friend really means to you?
Imma say this from my perspective.
Everybody needs a friend (or more)
They're like our second family.
Sister/Brother from different parents.
We can't expect them to be perfect.
They have flaws too.
But a good friend will accept your flaws.
Your good(s) and bad(s)
They'll be with you through ups and downs.
Friendship will have the ups and downs too,
but friends will work it out together through their own ways.
Slow talk etc.

 ----

Being in a group of friends (3 person or more) is even better.
Drama(s) might occurs but the feeling when you can work it out together is indescribable.
I miss having that kind of friendship.

When ones left, it's the saddest part.
Even pathetic if they left because we couldn't work on the issues we're dealing with.

I learned my lessons.
The hard way.
Appreciate things/people before they left.
Make them feel good around you.
Never take them for granted.
So you would have no regret if unwanted things happen.
"You never miss the water till the well runs dry" they said.

It's hard to work things when it's too late.
It's hard to fix it back.

Now,
Whenever I see a group of friends I feel like crying and smiling at the same time.
Missing the memories.

----

I love my best friend. So much.
I couldn't imagine what I would do w/o them.
To whom I'm gonna tell my problems, sharing sadness and happiness?
Who would accompanies me?
Who would help me?
(I know there's family but friends are important too)

Trust me, friends are very important.
Stop bragging about you could survive without friends.
Yeah, maybe you could.
But it's different.
The feeling ain't the same.

Imagine.
You succeeded in doing something.
You celebrate it yourself.
When you look to the next table,
they are celebrating it with their friends.
What are you going to feel?
Happy?
Sorry, but I don't think so.
Well, not for me.

In conclusion,
appreciate your friends.
Love them.
Make them feel belong.

"A friend is someone who thinks you're a good egg even though you're slighly cracked."
"To have a good friend is to be one."

Love,
Addina Ezlia.

P.S To my best friends (you know who you are), I love you so much :) xx
